Release Notes - May 2020 Update

RedAtlas Airport Management System

New Features

  • Self-service portal – Customers can now be given secure access to a portal enabling them to view their details, including downloading copy invoices, aircraft logbooks and updating their contact details. The portal will allow the customer to book out their aircraft and pay any outstanding invoices or uncharged activities.
  • Aeroclub Membership – The concept of Clubs has been added to RedAtlas to help administer memberships. There can be multiple clubs with each one linked to a charge group. Customers are added to clubs with a start and end date and their membership number.
  • PPR – A new public PPR Request form is available to send to customer and will be configurable to be used in your airport website. This is accompanied by a new PPR approval process in RedAtlas that will also email accepted or rejected requests. Approved requests will create scheduled movements ready for use in ATC with no retyping of data.
  • Documents – Within Customer Admin supporting documents can now be uploaded such as Indemnity forms or medical certificates. Documents will have a type (configured to suit the airfield), a description and an expiry date.


  • Take Payment - A select/unselect all option added to the Outstanding Charges screen in the Take Payment process for Aircrafts. This now mirrors the Take Payment process for Customers.
  • Payments on Account –An option to process a refund via the Payment on Account tab is now available. This will correct balances and produce a refund receipt.
  • Customer Admin – A date of birth field has been added in the customer information to allow easier management of age-related club memberships, marketing and document requirements.
  • Parking – Aircraft registration search function added to the Parking screen.
  • Flight Types – Flight types can now be marked as inactive to prevent them from appearing in ATC. Additionally, they can also be sorted in any desired order for display in ATC.

Bug Fixes

  • Scheduled Invoicing Printing Error – A very rare error when printing caused by the report not responding quickly enough but works again if the process is rerun. Current process updated to automatically rerun if the original error is encountered.
